Details:
In your CLC groups, examine the developmental
theories of Piaget, Erikson, and Kohlberg by applying them to each
developmental stage listed in the chart. In other words, for each developmental
stage, explain how each theorist would describe development within that
particular stage. An example has been completed for you.
Once your team has completed the chart, answer
each question using references to support your response:
1. What is the difference between sex and
gender?
2. Explain how sex and gender identity is
formed at each stage according to each theorist.
Use the GCU eLibrary to research a minimum of
three peer-reviewed articles (one for each researcher studied) that can be used
in support of your content.
While GCU style format is not required for the
body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected and in-text
citations and references should be presented using GCU documentation
guidelines, which can be found in the GCU Style Guide, located in the Student
Success Center.
This assignment uses a grading rubric.
Instructors will be using the rubric to grade the assignment; therefore,
students should review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become
familiar with the assignment criteria and expectations for successful
completion of the assignment.
