As discussed in the readings for this topic,
there are several elements that affect the success of an analytics-driven
organization. Some of the elements include people, systems, or other resources.
For this assignment, you will analyze your current organization (or refer to a
previous place of employment or create a hypothetical organization) and determine
the role of evidence-based data in the decision-making process for the
business.
In a 250-500 word paper, describe the ways in
which the organization you identified has utilized or will utilize the talent
and resources to develop an analytics-driven organization. Identify the
strategies used by the leaders of the organization in order to leverage data as
a strategic asset for an organization. Lastly, be sure to describe what the
vision and the culture of the organization looks like and provide examples.
While APA format is not required for the body
of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and in-text citations
and references should be presented using APA documentation guidelines, which
can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
